OK, I'm running Windows XP and my iPod is not detected when I plug it in. What could cause a limited user account to revert the screen resolution back to 800x600 when it was set to 1024x768? I have a user who says it's only happening to the limited user account. Hi, I need to copy files from a windows 7 laptop. I don't have the password for the machine. There is only one user account. Reinstalling the OS or recovery mode is not an option. Is there any way I can retrieve the files on a USB? I am thinking if I can get to the command prompt during bootup and if it recognizes the USB, I might be able to copy some of the files at least.
